Welcome to the Global ECR space

Here you will find downloadable documents, presentations, links, and videos that support researchers, wherever based in the world, in the early stages of their research careers.

If you are a doctoral researcher, postdoctoral researcher, research and/or technical staff, early career lecturer, experienced academic, or trainer, we hope you will find something to help you in your research and research-enabling role.

Building Strong Research Collaborations

  • Research collaboration is essential for advancing scientific knowledge and building a successful academic career. For early career researchers, developing collaborative relationships can open doors to new opportunities, resources, and perspectives that might otherwise remain inaccessible

Why a Global ECR space?

Research is a global matter and a vital component of society, economies, and in meeting the global challenges of our time. However, not all researchers have equal opportunities or advantages in the international research space. The driving force behind the project has been the website’s creators’ collective commitment to ensuring researchers are prepared and equipped, in an equitable way, to participate in and benefit from the opportunities that being an international researcher or a member of an international team brings.

We aimed to create a global space for researchers to learn from each other, to connect, share, and exchange globally, and to provide FREE online resources that enable researchers to advance in those endeavours.

We hope you enjoy the fruits of our global collaboration.

How to use the Global ECR space?

We encourage researchers and their supporters to use the resources for personal professional development and self-help. And also, to download or repurpose the resources to help colleagues. We ask you to acknowledge the source of the materials.

We invite you to share your resources with us, too.
